Colleagues,
Staff Appreciation Week 2019 is around the corner, April 22-27, in which we will take time to recognize and thank our dedicated employees who contribute, day in and day out, to the success of Texas A&M AgriLife.
This year, events are planned on the Bryan-College Station campus, kicking off with the President’s Meritorious Service Award Ceremony on Monday, April 22. Our college’s own Heather Prestridge, curator in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, will be honored for her commendable service to the university and exemplification of the Aggie core values of excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service. Congratulations on this prestigious award, Heather! To see a list of all planned events and activities, visit https://staffappreciation.tamu.edu/. For those of you located at one of our centers or institutes across the state, I encourage you to take time to celebrate your successes during this dedicated week of appreciation.
In closing, I am honored to be part of an organization that remains steadfast to its land-grant mission through excellence in teaching, research, extension and service. Thank you for your continued enthusiasm and dedication to reach every Texan.
Thank you,

Patrick J. Stover, Ph.D.
