Biography

Dr. Yuxiang Sun is a Professor and Associate Department Head for Graduate Programs in Nutrition at Texas A&M. Her research focuses on the role of nutrition in chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, liver cancer, and Alzheimer’s. She teaches NUTR 655, “Nutrition and Healthy Aging,” and is passionate about collaborative leadership, believing that “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Over the past decade at Texas A&M, she has found scholarly and educational fulfillment and looks forward to strengthening her leadership impact.
