Biography

Dr. Maureen Spill brings over 20 years of experience in food and nutrition research. She previously served on USDA’s Nutrition Evidence Systematic Review team, leading reviews that informed the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Her career spans federal government, non-profits, academia, and the food industry. She holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in Food Science from the University of California, Davis.
