Biography

Dr. Shane McLellan is the County Extension Agent for Agriculture in McLennan County, Texas. He began his Extension career in 1998 as an Assistant Agent in Hill County and later served as the Agriculture Agent in Freestone County for eight years. He currently oversees horticulture, row crop, and livestock education in McLennan County. Raised on a family farm in Avoca, Texas, Dr. McLellan lives with his wife Amanda and their two children, Chloe and Travis. His hobbies include supporting his kids’ activities and raising sheep, goats, and cattle.
