Biography

Dr. Jenna S. Kurten serves as Assistant Dean for Student Success in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and as Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management, and Tourism. She leads strategic efforts to improve student retention and graduation rates and teaches courses that prepare students to engage with diverse communities. Dr. Kurten earned her Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Texas A&M University.
