Biography

Dr. Girisha Ganjegunte is a Professor in the Department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Texas A&M University, specializing in water reuse, salinity management, and climate-smart agriculture. His research has earned global recognition and substantial funding, with widely cited publications and impactful collaborations with growers in West Texas. He has mentored numerous students and received honors including the USDA-NIFA Global Engagement Award and AgriLife Research Scientist of the Year.
