Colleagues,
Today, Texas A&M AgriLife Research hosted leaders from across The Texas A&M University System in a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Animal Reproductive Biotechnology Center at the Texas A&M-RELLIS Campus in Bryan.
The facility is a joint construction project of AgriLife Research and the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Animal Science. Construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
The center will be integral to new opportunities for advancing collaborative research, teaching and outreach in Animal Science and will help us lead the scientific advancement of domestic animal pregnancy and development. The facility will be fundamental to increasing understanding of ruminant reproduction at the molecular, cellular and whole-animal levels, and it will offer a major boost to translational research for leading the world in sustainable livestock systems.
Please join me in celebrating this groundbreaking and read more about the Animal Reproductive Biotechnology Center this afternoon in AgriLife Today.
