Texas A&M AgriLife is led by Patrick J. Stover, Ph.D., vice chancellor of Texas A&M AgriLife, dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and director of Texas A&M AgriLife Research. Texas A&M AgriLife provides teaching, research, extension and service to the state of Texas and beyond.
A part of The Texas A&M University System, one of the nation’s largest systems of higher education, Texas A&M AgriLife comprises the Texas A&M University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and four state agencies: Texas A&M AgriLife Research, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the Texas A&M Forest Service and the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. These agencies conduct vital research and outreach and provide critical services to Texans while also reaching across the globe to improve agriculture and natural resources. As dean, Stover also oversees the Texas A&M University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, one of the largest colleges of its kind in the nation.
AgriLife Administrative Services, AgriLife Information Technology, AgriLife Communications and the offices of Federal Relations and External Relations provide support to more than 5,000 AgriLife employees statewide.
Together, we are serving Texans and our global neighbors, providing solutions and educating future leaders in agriculture and the life sciences.
