The Office of the Vice Chancellor provides primary administrative leadership and coordination across Texas A&M AgriLife. The service entities reporting to the Vice Chancellor include external and federal relations, AgriLife Administrative Services, AgriLife Information Technology, and AgriLife Communications. From facilities to building relationships, the office provides statewide support to our agency and college faculty, staff and students. The office is responsible for leading the Vice Chancellor and Dean’s key initiatives, awards, outreach efforts and leadership programs.
Texas A&M AgriLife Administrative Services encompasses AgriLife Fiscal, AgriLife Human Resources, and AgriLife Support Services. Support for Texas A&M AgriLife agencies includes assisting in the development and management of grants, managing funds entrusted to the various components of AgriLife, hiring employees and assisting them with their benefits, coordinating purchases, managing the AgriLife vehicle fleet and conducting the inventory of assets.
AgriLife Communications provides strategic and tactical communications solutions that enable our AgriLife clients and partners to carry out their goals and successfully promote their work and services both within the Texas A&M University System and to external audiences.
AgriLife Information Technology provides strategic IT leadership, management oversight and enterprise IT services for our customers within Texas A&M AgriLife.
The Office of External Relations communicates the needs, priorities and relevance of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M Forest Service and the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory to outside interests. The team is the primary point of contact for elected officials, government agencies and external stakeholders at the state level.
The Office of Federal Relations was established to enhance the programs of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences by building support at the federal level. The office is responsible for maintaining consistency and coordination of contact with these supporters while promoting and striving for funding for numerous programs and initiatives.
The Texas A&M AgriLife offices of the Texas A&M Foundation work with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the Texas A&M AgriLife agencies to match donors and their interests with critical priorities. Our donors provide resources that help our faculty and staff members excel in their fields, and students become confident professionals.
