Colleagues,
As you may know, Texas A&M AgriLife has a rich history of environmental stewardship across the College and agencies. In all we do, we aim to be good stewards of our natural resources and environment for future generations. We work to improve and safeguard the quality of the water we drink, the air we breathe, the soil we use to raise crops and livestock, and the wild and natural spaces in our state and beyond.
We are proud to support many longstanding, successful programs that are advancing our understanding of environmental stewardship, as well as our practice of environmental stewardship in our own operations and practices as Texas A&M AgriLife.
Our organization is committed to sustainable practices that protect our assets, care for the well-being of our community and provide accountability for the natural resources entrusted to us.
Environmental stewardship is a commitment that has been codified by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents in System Regulation 34.01.03 Environment. As vice chancellor and dean, I endorse this policy.
To learn more, please take a minute to review Regulation 34.01.03. If you would like to learn more, visit the Environmental Management section of the Texas A&M University System’s website.
Thank you!
Jeffrey W. Savell
